Sorta. Keep fighting with the hope that eventually there will be a last fight and we win. If we don't try then we lose right away, so we keep fighting and we get stronger each time too.
The whole "keep fighting until eventually we win" mentality would be a lot easier to keep up if the things we're fighting didn't keep getting bigger, scarier, and more powerful.
Yeah seriously. But we keep doing it because no one else is and if we give up, it's game over. Maybe this time since it's gotten so big we'll have more help.
